Thanks to all who showed your support
for our 5th ANNUAL ROCK-A-THON!

THE SISTERS OF ALPHA DELTA PI HAD  A SUCCESSFUL
PHILANTHROPY EVENT!

Instead of having our Quarter Mile Challenge, our Philanthropy Chair along with our chapter has decided on changing the event to a "Jail and Bail." The event will be held on April 25th to the 29th. The Jail and Bail will take place in the Campus Center at Albright, where sisters will be spending there time "in jail" on specific teams. The objective is for each team to post "bail" to get them out and raise money for the Ronald McDonald House Charities. This highly anticipated event will hopefully raise a lot of money for a great cause.

The Ronald McDonald House

Alpha Delta Pi’s national philanthropy is the Ronald McDonald House Charities. The Eta Lambda chapter specifically serves the Ronald McDonald House in Hershey Park, Pennsylvania and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania where we help the Ronald McDonald House Incorporation provide a “home away from home” for families of hospitalized children or those undergoing outpatient treatment. In the house parents can break away from the hospital environment, have the support of other families, and ease some of the stress associated with their child’s illness. It is a place where families can feel at home, cook their meals, watch TV, read, do their laundry, and enjoy the comfort of a warm and friendly environment.

You will constantly see sisters collecting soda tabs and magazines around campus. Several times a semester we bring these tabs to the Ronald McDonald House, where they cash them in to pay bills and attend to other financial need.
