We recieved GOLDEN LION at Convention last summer, which is very exciting news to represent years of hard work and dedication of many sisters! We also received Excellence Awards in: TME, Scholarship, Alpha Member Education & Finance, as well as Diamond 4 Point!
This year at District Leadership Conference, Eta Lambda went home with eleven awards including ones such as/ but not limited to, 3.0 GPA, Philanthropy, Finance, NMC, and Adelphean Reporting. The sisters also brought home the award for best bid day shirt for fall 2011, and Alphie. Alphie represents the chapter who is the most enthusiastic through out the weekend at DLC!

MAXINE BLAKE GOLDEN LION- 2009
The Maxine Blake Golden Lion Award is the highest honor a chapter may receive and is awarded each Convention to chapters that excel in all areas of chapter operations and programming for a minimum period of six years. The chapters that are presented this award must have received Diamond Four Point 5 of the past 6 years, qualify for the Excellence Award for the current year, have received the Stanard Leadership Award or the Maxine Blake Golden Lion Award within the past six years, have received six Excellence awards in programming since the last Convention, and are considered Alpha Delta Pi’s first and finest on their respective campus.
STANARD LEADERSHIP AWARD- 2007, 2005
This award was named in honor of Caralee Strock Stanard of Alpha Gamma chapter at the University of Missouri. Mrs. Standard was the Editor Emeritus of The Adelphean of Alpha Delta Pi and served as Grand President of Alpha Delta Pi from 1938-1948. She is the author of The Creed of Alpha Delta Pi. Each convention, the Stanard Leadership Award is given to the chapters that received the Excellence Award at the previous Convention as well as qualify for the current year, show significant leadership and participation in Panhellenic, in campus organizations, and support all Alpha Delta Pi programs and fund-raising efforts. These chapters must also provide innovative leadership within the University or community to enhance educational experiences. When I announce the names of the winning chapters, will all collegians, alumnae and advisors of the chapter please come forward to accept the award.
RECRUITMENT EXCELLENCE- 2008, 2007, 2011
The Recruitment Excellence Award honors those chapters who excel in all areas of membership recruitment.
LEGACY AWARDS- 2008, 2007
The legacy awards are given to those chapters who pledge 50% or more of the Alpha Delta Pi legacies who participate in formal recruitment.
ALPHA EDUCATION PROGRAMMING ACHIEVEMENT- 2009, 2008, 2007 The Alpha Education Programming Achievement Award recognizes chapters that show evidence of change in programming and implementation that led to progress in the education of new members.
To honor excellence in financial management, this award was named in 1948 for Eleanor Abrott Harris, Psi. Mrs. Harris served Alpha Delta Pi as Grand Secretary-Treasurer from 1934-1948 and as Director of Central Office when it was located in Berkeley, California. This award is given annually to the chapters who exhibit the highest excellence in financial management.

Established in 1993, the Total Membership Education Achievement Award recognizes chapters that show evidence of change in programming and implementation that led to progress in the education of the chapter membership.
DIAMOND FOUR POINT AWARD- 2009, 2008, 2007, 2006
The Diamond Four Point Award is given yearly to chapters for overall performance during the past year. It represents a solid foundation for which all should strive to achieve.
INVOLVEMENT
The sisters of Eta Lambda display many leadership position both on campus and within their communities. Each year, sister grow and become more involved in their interests. Through their membership within Alpha Delta Pi, sisters develop and strengthen their skills though chapter positions, becoming Diamond Sisters, and simply by being active within the chapter itself. The skills the sisters develop help them to lead not only their chapter, the Greek community, but campus itself.
Sisters are involved in countless organizations and activities on campus. Some sisters even hold some of the highest positions in these organizations beside the ones they already hold within Eta Lambda.
